Unseen

Grief can be seen and unseen. In popular culture, we find a myriad of books dealing with how we should understand its mysterious stages—sometimes with sombre and respectful seriousness, sometimes attempting to deflect fear and confusion through humour. This project explores theories and representations of grief and contrasts them with what real people say about their experiences. This project led me to sitting down with a range of different people and having conversations about their personal experiences with grief.
